From what I've seen the issues I'm having might have more to do with configuring wine then the actual software itself.Īdmin note: the following was extracted from a user comment dated it may not be applicable to current Wine. If someone has some better testing experience they might be able to bump this up to a gold rating. You can click on a cmbl file but it only opens up a blank logger pro screen and you still have to locate the file and open it from within the program to see and or edit the file.Īny type of sensor or sensor configuration or settings that would connect to logger pro.

Also file type associations don't appear to be working. So in short special characters don't work well under Wine, and usb connections are not detected correctly. However if I save the file and open it in windows lambda does show up as the column name right where I put it. For example if I label a data column header by clicking on it and enter the special Greek character lambda (as the name of the column to display) then click on ok, no character is shown under wine. Special characters such as Greek characters and symbols appear as they should in places where you would enter them but once you click ok, the symbol or special character doesn't show up where ever it was you intended it to show up at. Opening and saving files appear to be working (see note about file type associations in the what does not work section).

What I have tested is creating graphs of various kinds, manipulating the graphs using the various options available, analyzing those graphs using various tools in the menus and by clicking on the graphs, manipulating tables and data within those tables etc. I'm using this to edit and or create logger pro files that I collected data for during a physics class so not all features have been tested. Everything I have tested appears to work except usb support, and connecting up sensors.
